Lightswitch is an upcoming cocktail bar and café opening in New York City, designed around the idea of transforming throughout the day—from a bright neighborhood café into an intimate evening destination. The owners wanted a website that reflected this dual identity while building anticipation ahead of the restaurant's opening.

Rather than creating a traditional restaurant website, the goal was to craft an immersive digital experience that captured the feeling of stepping inside the space. The homepage was designed around a custom interactive concept where visitors "flip the switch" to transition between the daytime and nighttime experiences, allowing the website to mirror the venue's transformation throughout the day.

Although the restaurant has not yet opened, the website establishes the visual foundation for the brand while providing room for future expansion as menus, reservations, events, and photography become available.
